Anime North is not cancelling the Skit Contest!

Check out the thread on the Tea House of the Maple Moon messege board.

Boxed Rice Productions would like to deeply thank all and any who posted and/or showed their support of keeping the Skit Contest going at Anime North.

I just added Northern Anime Fest to the Conventions page, and updated the Members with a new avatar for E-Chan, as well as listing her upcoming costumes. Any members who want their upcoming costumes listed, please inform me of them. Johnny, Wes, that means you guys.

Now in regards to anyone who's interested in joining the group, our policy generally reads as follows: Must have a sense of fun. BRP is pretty much come and go as you please, but when a project is settled upon, try to remain committed. There's nothing quite so disappointing as a last minute cancellation since it can cripple a skit entirely. Also, make sure you're in the Toronto area (that includes Brampton, Mississauga, and Oshawa). If you're in say, Moosejaw, I'm sorry but it's just not going to work. You have to be able to attend at least a handful of meetings a year before con time rolls around. We're open to new members, just make sure you're local and all.

I finally fixed the Members page. There are new images for each member and I finally updated Chibi's info. If any of the members want anything changed, let me know.

For anyone who hasn't seen it already, this particular thread at Teahouse of the Maple Moon is quite important. The skit contest might be pulled due to a lack of manpower. If you want the skit contest to remain, go leave a message in support of it. Thanks a ton, and let's hope it'll all work out.

The news updater's working nicely now. All I have to do is get up the rest of the pages and the site'll be complete. Coranto's a very nice web updater and I encourage everyone to use it, provided they understand CHMODs and such. CHMOD, if you're wondering, means permissions on a folder on your server. I would not recommend Coranto on say, a Geocities site, since Geocities won't let you upload things like Coranto, nor CHMOD them. But if you do everything by FTP and use someone like Dreamhost, then you're good to go.

The next major update should be to the members page. I intend to update it properly this time around. If any of the members want to select new photos, let me know on the forums. I also need a new photo from Chibi, since I can't find her old one.
