March's TAC isn't exactly a stellar experience if you go expecting events or guests worth the trouble. The fact it's now a two-day mini-con seems a wholly questionable decision on the part of the organisers, since they don't really provide much worth attending for.

Still, like all TACs, it's a chance to see old friends and make new ones, laugh at the poor costumes and ogle the good ones. It's also a chance for me to embarass some of my friends in the worst way possible (see photo). Wholehearted apologies to Minako and Megra.

For me, MTAC this year wasn't a con. It was more or less a big get-together with lousy security and a really poorly planned venue. It was nice to have the immense space in which to run around, but really unnecessary. I think cozy settings work better for mini-cons, and the sheer height of the space in which MTAC was held made the whole experience that much less enjoyable.

I enjoyed seeing friends, but outside of that, there wasn't much to write home about. I wasn't even planning on going in the first place, but I wanted to see at least some people before August since I'll be missing Anime North this year. I just really resent having paid for this poor excuse of an 'event'.
